I chose you as my photographer because I have seen your work product and loved it! My favorite part of my session was that it was much easier than I thought it was going to be!  You made me feel relaxed and I realized that it was quite fun. I also enjoyed watching how you chose your settings and light exposure. If I were to recommend you to my best friend (and I would certainly do that), I would tell her that you have a great work product and are very easy to work with. You make the entire session fun and relaxing, and then I look forward to seeing the pictures!  I also really enjoyed reviewing all the photos with you to pick the best ones. Overall, you  make it a fun experience and the bonus is that I have some terrific photos for professional, and personal, use!! Thanks Karen!

I chose you as a photographer because I saw the fantastic work you've done with a friend of mine for her website headshot. And because I strongly felt I would feel safe and confident with you because of your kindness, patience and generosity. I enjoyed the session in the bar (with the brick wall!) because it was fun to be in a public space! Working with Karen is like being in a very safe bubble. I really loved working with Karen. I chose her because I love her taste. It’s simple, natural and chic at the same time.  It’s a great description of Karen too! Simple, natural and chic!  She knows how to make you feel comfortable in a session, even if like me, you don’t like to be photographed. I felt confident from the beginning, because from the first series she had gorgeous photos, really natural, exactly what I was looking for.  I had a really good time following her ideas. She knows how to take advantage of the light perfectly and don’t ask you to take silly posture. She tried different angles and always had good suggestions for postures, clothes to wear and places. On top of that it was fun. The experience was fantastic.

Right from the very first second I have met Karen I liked her and felt very comfortable with her. I like her honesty and authenticity. We were on the same page when we started to talk about the photo shoot and the desired significance of the photos.  My favorite part of the portrait session was when we climbed up a hill in my favorite park and she made me feel like an "angel" in my white blouse with long, wide sleeves... She caught the spirit of this moment with the photos she took. If you want to find the "real you" in your photos, than Karen is the right person. Take enough time and start "this journey" with her and the result will be amazing. I never ever had photos like these from myself before. The primary reason why I chose Karen as my photographer is that I'd seen Karen's work online and in a friend's home. I was very impressed.  I loved how she came to my house in advance to help me choose outfit choices. On the actual photo shoot day, Karen gave great tips on how to help me look my best. She came up with all sort of creative poses. Overall, the experience was a blast.  The photography experience with Karen was so much more fun than I expected. She is passionate and enthusiastic during the entire process. She is meticulous in her work.

After meeting you in person at Brookside, I felt such a positive connection. Your enthusiasm for your work and promoting other women was so refreshing! I really appreciated the hair and makeup session and the fact that you made sure that I was comfortable with the look and felt it represented the ‘true’ me. It gave me a boost of confidence and made me more relaxed during the photo session.  If I were to recommend you to a good friend, I would tell her that she was in for a treat! The time and energy you put into the entire process was so much more than just a ‘head shot’ session.   Your message to empower and encourage moms to not only take care of, but celebrate ourselves is something we can never hear too often.
